Another warrior we unfortunately lost this year. “Bad” Bennie Briscoe, a Philly style boxer defined. They don’t make ‘em like Bennie no more. You’d have a harder time listing who Bennie didn’t fight than who he did. Marvin Hagler, Carlos Monzon, Emile Griffith, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad are just a few, legends all in their own right and Bennie stood toe to toe with them all. Rest in peace.
